NGP ANTI-LIG 5050C 48" Self-Adhesive Anti-Ligature Fire Smoke Seal is a specialized solution designed for environments such as psychiatric facilities and prisons. Its unique anti-ligature feature incorporates serrations every 8 inches, effectively breaking apart to prevent misuse for hanging or strangling. This seal maintains superior sealing properties against light, sound, air, and smoke, ensuring safety and comfort. Crafted from synthetic rubber polymer (Siloxane), it offers excellent flexibility and memory, remaining effective in extreme temperatures ranging from -100°F to 500°F. Its flame resistance and moisture resistance make it ideal for various applications, including areas using FM200 or Halon Fire Suppression Systems. The NGP ANTI-LIG 5050C is BHMA Certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.22 performance standards, ensuring high-quality performance for heat, cold, and air infiltration. With a long-term adhesive exposure range of -30°F to 250°F, it provides strong initial adhesion as well as enduring holding power, suitable for both interior and exterior installations. Available in a charcoal finish, this 1/2" wide x 1/4" tall seal comes in 48" rolls and is resistant to aging, UV radiation, and various chemicals, meeting the requirements of the RoHS directive for environmental safety.
