CRL SS316516 Gray 3/16" Thick x 5/16" Wide Edgetech Super Spacer - 66' Roll

CRL SS316516 Gray 3/16" Thick x 5/16" Wide Edgetech Super Spacer - 66 Foot Roll is designed to streamline the production of insulating glass units, allowing for both regular and specially shaped designs. This innovative spacer eliminates the need for desiccant beads and corner keys, significantly saving production time. Available in gray or black, it features a multi-layer vapor barrier that is continuous at corners, ensuring long-lasting performance. Constructed from superior insulating silicone foam, the Super Spacer® effectively prevents perimeter edge condensation and reduces overall heat loss in windows. Its UV-resistant material guarantees durability, while the flexible foam accommodates glass bowing and thermal movement. This spacer is ideal for specialized applications, including curved units, sound insulation, and triple-glazed configurations with art glass inserts. Each roll measures 66 feet in length, offering ample material for various projects. It is important to note that the Super Spacer® must be used in conjunction with an edge sealant, such as CRL Hot Melt Butyl or CRL 877 Super Spacer Sealant, to ensure optimal performance. For those seeking an effective solution in glazing, the CRL Edgetech Super Spacer® stands out as a reliable choice. Always remember to use proper protective gear when handling glass.
