Designed with a 1-1/4" housing and a Schlage L Cam (A06), this product features a polished brass finish that adds a touch of elegance while ensuring durability. Crafted from solid brass, it is compatible with Corbin Russwin 8000 Series Interchangeable Cores in both 6 and 7-pin configurations. One of the standout features of this mortise housing is its rekeying convenience, allowing non-technical personnel to perform rekeying without removing the hardware from the door. This capability is particularly advantageous in high-traffic environments such as office buildings, hotels, schools, and hospitals, where frequent key changes may be necessary. All operating keys-change, master, and grand master-function seamlessly with the lock, while a special control key allows for easy removal and installation of the core at a separate shear line. Additionally, concealed key control (CKC) options enhance security, making this housing an ideal choice for any comprehensive keying system. With a limited warranty of one year and made in the USA, the Corbin Russwin 1070-114-A06-6 is a reliable investment for your security needs.

1-1/4" 6-Pin Mortise Housing, A06 Schlage L Cam, Bright Brass Finish
Corbin Russwin Interchangeable Core Mortise and Rim Housings are made from soldi brass and are available to accept Corbin Russwin 8000 Series Interchangeable Cores in 6 or 7-Pin versions.
Interchangeable cores provide rekeying convenience for virtually all types of keying systems.
Interchangeable cores like this save time and money over the life of a building.
Rekeying can be done by non-technical personnel without removing hardware from the door. When used system wide, IC provides tremendous rekeying convenience. When planned from the inception of a system, IC cylinders can be integrated with conventional cylinders.
IC is recommended for virtually all types of keying systems, such as office buildings, hotels, schools, hospitals and universities. When used in exit devices and other installations which are labor intensive to rekey, IC saves time and money over the life of the building.
All operating keys (change, master, grand master) operate the lock normally. To rekey, use the special control key. The control key operates at a separate shear line in certain chambers within the core. Only the control key is required to remove and install a core.
Cores are available in 6-pin (standard), 7-pin, security and Pyramid.
Corbin Russwin recommends temporary construction cores for greater security. Special construction master keying is also available, when planned from the inception of the keying system.
Concealed Key Control (CKC) is available for all Corbin Russwin cores.
