LCN 1461-RW/62A 689 Surface Closer AL is a Grade 1 parallel arm surface closer designed for maximum versatility in both commercial and institutional settings. Featuring a slim plastic cover, this closer can accommodate a 180-degree swing and is equipped with a 62A auxiliary shoe, making it suitable for various door applications. Constructed with a robust cast iron body and a full complement bearing, the closer boasts a 1-1/4 inch diameter piston and a 3/4 inch diameter single heat-treated pinion journal. Its adjustable spring size ranges from 1 to 6, allowing for tailored performance on interior doors up to 5'0" and exterior doors up to 4'0". This non-handed closer is easy to install with multiple mounting options, including hinge side, top jamb, and parallel arm configurations. The LCN 1461 also meets ADA requirements and includes independent adjustment valves for backcheck, closing, and latching speeds, all concealed to prevent tampering. With a Cush-N-Stop® feature that protects against abrupt stops, it ensures durability and longevity, having been tested for 2,000,000 cycles. The LCN 1460 Series is designed for maximum versatility, available with multiple cover options, it can be used for both commercial and institutional applications. This Grade 1 closer features a cast iron body with a full compliment bearing, 1-1/4 In. diameter piston, 3/4 In. diameter single heat treated pinion journal and all weather fluid. Spring size is adjustable from size 1 to 6.

• Non-sized (1-6) cylinder is adjustable for interior doors to 5’0” and exterior doors to 4’0”
• Closer mounts hinge side, top jamb and parallel arm on either right or left swinging doors
• Closer meets ADA requirements
• Standard or optional custom powder coat finish. Optional plated finish on Designer Series metal cover, arm and fasteners
