Corbin Russwin 8000-L4 BSP 6-Pin LFIC Core L4 Keyway offers a robust solution for your locking needs with its 6-pin interchangeable core. Finished in a sleek black suede powder coat, this product is designed to integrate seamlessly with Corbin Russwin's 8000 Series Interchangeable Cores, allowing for both 6 and 7-pin options. Made from solid brass, the core is built to withstand the test of time while providing unparalleled rekeying convenience. The ability to rekey without removing the hardware from the door means non-technical personnel can manage key changes easily. All operating keys-change, master, and grand master-function normally, while a special control key allows for effortless core removal and installation. Additionally, Corbin Russwin recommends incorporating temporary construction cores for enhanced security during building phases. With features such as concealed key control (CKC) available, the 8000-L4 is a reliable choice for those seeking efficient and secure locking options in commercial settings.

Interchangeable cores like this save time and money over the life of a building.

  • Advantages

Rekeying can be done by non-technical personnel without removing hardware from the door. When used system wide, IC provides tremendous rekeying convenience. When planned from the inception of a system, IC cylinders can be integrated with conventional cylinders.

  • Applications

IC is recommended for virtually all types of keying systems, such as office buildings, hotels, schools, hospitals and universities. When used in exit devices and other installations which are labor intensive to rekey, IC saves time and money over the life of the building.

  • Operations

All operating keys (change, master, grand master) operate the lock normally. To rekey, use the special control key. The control key operates at a separate shear line in certain chambers within the core. Only the control key is required to remove and install a core.

  • Cores

Cores are available in 6-pin (standard), 7-pin, security and Pyramid.

  • Construction Keying

Corbin Russwin recommends temporary construction cores for greater security. Special construction master keying is also available, when planned from the inception of the keying system.

  • Core Marking

Concealed Key Control (CKC) is available for all Corbin Russwin cores.
