Corbin Russwin 8000-7-N8 626 7-Pin LFIC Core N8 KeywayCorbin Russwin 8000-7-N8 626 7-Pin LFIC Core N8 Keyway offers exceptional versatility and convenience for modern locking solutions. Designed with a 7-pin interchangeable core and finished in a sleek satin chrome, this product is a perfect fit for commercial applications such as office buildings, hotels, schools, and hospitals. The robust brass construction ensures durability while providing a reliable locking mechanism. One of the standout features of this interchangeable core is its ease of rekeying. It allows non-technical personnel to rekey locks without removing the hardware from the door, saving valuable time and resources over the life of a building. This feature is particularly beneficial in labor-intensive installations, like exit devices, where traditional rekeying can be cumbersome. Operating with standard keys for normal use, the core can be rekeyed using a special control key that operates at a separate shear line, ensuring security and functionality. Additionally, the Corbin Russwin 8000-7-N8 is compatible with 6 or 7-pin configurations and can be integrated with conventional cylinders when planned from the outset. With a limited warranty of one year and made in the USA, this lock core stands out in both reliability and performance.

IC is recommended for virtually all types of keying systems, such as office buildings, hotels, schools, hospitals and universities. When used in exit devices and other installations which are labor intensive to rekey, IC saves time and money over the life of the building.
All operating keys (change, master, grand master) operate the lock normally. To rekey, use the special control key. The control key operates at a separate shear line in certain chambers within the core. Only the control key is required to remove and install a core.
