LCN 1461-H 690 Surface Closer STAT is a Grade 1 regular or top jamb surface closer designed for both commercial and institutional applications. With a robust cast iron body and a full complement bearing, this closer features a 1-1/4 inch diameter piston and a 3/4 inch diameter heat-treated pinion journal, ensuring durability and reliability. The adjustable spring size ranges from 1 to 6, making it versatile enough for interior doors up to 5 feet and exterior doors up to 4 feet. This universal, non-handed closer can be mounted on the hinge side, top jamb, or parallel arm for right or left swinging doors. It meets ADA requirements and includes independent adjustment valves for backcheck, closing, and latching speeds, all concealed to prevent tampering. The LCN 1460 Series is designed for maximum versatility, available with multiple cover options, it can be used for both commercial and institutional applications. This Grade 1 closer features a cast iron body with a full compliment bearing, 1-1/4 In. diameter piston, 3/4 In. diameter single heat treated pinion journal and all weather fluid. Spring size is adjustable from size 1 to 6.
