This Grade 1 parallel arm surface closer is engineered with a heavy-duty double lever arm and a slim plastic cover, ensuring a sleek appearance while delivering reliable functionality. Designed for push-side mounting, it accommodates a 110-degree swing and features a special rust inhibitor for enhanced durability in challenging environments. The LCN 1461 is built from high-strength cast iron with a 1-1/4 inch diameter piston and a 3/4 inch diameter heat-treated pinion journal, capable of withstanding up to 2,000,000 cycles. Its universal, non-handed design allows for easy installation on right or left swinging doors, with multiple mounting options including regular, top jamb, and parallel arm configurations. Adjustable spring strength from size 1 to 6 ensures it suits various door sizes up to 5’0" for interior doors and 4’0" for exterior doors. Concealed adjustment valves allow precise control of backcheck, closing, and latching speeds while preventing tampering. The Cush-N-Stop® function protects the door and frame from abrupt stops, making the LCN 1461-EDA a reliable choice for demanding environments. The LCN 1460 Series is designed for maximum versatility, available with multiple cover options, it can be used for both commercial and institutional applications. This Grade 1 closer features a cast iron body with a full compliment bearing, 1-1/4 In. diameter piston, 3/4 In. diameter single heat treated pinion journal and all weather fluid. Spring size is adjustable from size 1 to 6.
