LCN 4210-18 689 Drop Plate, Top Rail AL is engineered for high-security applications, featuring a robust aluminum design ideal for narrow top rails or flush ceilings. This heavy-duty closer is a part of the 4210 Series, which is specifically crafted to resist tampering and vandalism, making it perfect for correctional facilities, institutions, and high-traffic areas. Constructed with forged steel parallel arms and heavy gauge metal security covers, the 4210-18 ensures durability and longevity. It has successfully passed 10 million cycles in independent testing, proving its reliability under rigorous conditions. The standard model comes equipped with an extra-duty arm (non hold-open), a metal security cover, and a pack of TORX machine screws for secure installation. Designed for both interior and exterior doors, the cylinder options accommodate door heights of up to 5’0" for interior and 4’0" for exterior applications. The closer allows for parallel arm mounting and can be tailored to either right or left swinging doors. A variety of finishes, including a standard or custom powder coat, and optional SRI primer for corrosive environments, ensure that the LCN 4210-18 meets diverse aesthetic and functional requirements. It is UL listed with EDA or CUSH arms for self-closing doors and meets ANSI Standard A156.4, grade one certification.
