This 25" (635 mm) wide unit is designed for window sizes up to 60" (1.52 m) high and 30" (762 mm) wide, making it ideal for drive-thru restaurants, ice cream stores, and other quick-service establishments. By creating an advanced air barrier, the LPV25 effectively keeps out insects, dust, and car exhaust fumes, ensuring a pleasant experience for both customers and employees. The unit's low-profile design, with an overall height of just 8" (203 mm) and depth of 10-3/4" (273 mm), allows for unobstructed views while maintaining sanitary conditions. Featuring a continuous duty, double shaft motor with automatic thermal overload protection, the LPV25 minimizes maintenance costs and ensures reliable performance. The adjustable speed controller knob lets operators customize the air velocity to suit various field conditions. Compact and convenient, CRL Mars® Service Window Air Curtains create an advanced air barrier to insects, dust, and fumes without disturbing customers or employees. Designed for quick service drive-thru restaurants, dairy and ice cream stores, hamburger stands, and other businesses with serving windows, such as banks, dry cleaners, and pharmacies. The CRLLPV25 and CRLELPV25 provide an unobstructed view while maintaining clean, sanitary conditions. No remodeling or expensive installation is needed for these versatile air curtains, which mount inside or outside the exterior wall. Mounting holes on brackets simplify installation. Standard models operate on 115V AC. (208/230V models available on special order.)


NOTE: In many cases local Health Departments are requiring quick service restaurants to have air curtains, or "fly fans" as they have become known in the industry, above each service window opening. CRL offers an optional integrated micro-switch concealed in the window, which will automatically turn the air curtain on as the window opens and off as the window closes. Not only is this convenient and time-saving during installation, but the clerk operating the window has one less thing to think about. For more information, contact CRL Technical Sales Department.

  • 2. Continuous duty, direct drive, variable speed, double shaft motor with automatic thermal overload protection. Overload protects motor from burnout, minimizing maintenance costs. Motor connected with an 8' (2.4 m) three conductor cord and plug.
  • 3. Blower wheels are rust proof and dynamically balanced to provide quiet operation while maintaining high air velocity.
  • 4. Low profile appearance. Overall height is 8" (203 mm) and overall depth is 10-3/4" (273 mm).
  • 5. Air directional vanes, with 40" (1.02 m) sweep front to back, compensates for drafts.
  • 6. Mounted adjustable speed controller knob allows air velocity to meet a wide range of field conditions.
  • 7. All units have a self-contained, one-piece cabinet, fire retardant and corrosion proof paint, double protected with Obsidian Black rust preventative electrostatic powdercoating.
