Designed to mimic the appearance of an HL hinge, this dummy plate is the perfect solution for situations where traditional hinge installation is not feasible. Measuring 7 inches in height and 5-1/4 inches in width, the RH6BP is fully reversible, making it suitable for both right and left-hand doors. It pairs seamlessly with 3-1/2" or 4" butt hinges, providing versatility for various applications. The plate is finished on both sides, ensuring a polished look from any angle. Included with the dummy plate are four 3/4" x #8 pyramid head screws, allowing for easy installation. For optimal results, it’s recommended to install the plate while the door is closed and mark holes prior to pre-drilling. When working with softwood, use a 7/64" drill bit, and for hardwood, opt for a 1/8" drill bit. Hand-tightening the screws will help protect the finish. Installation Tips

• Install while door is closed.


• Mark holes before pre-drilling for screws.
