Acorn CK10L Cut Spikes are expertly crafted for heavy construction applications, making them an indispensable choice for deck and bridge work. Measuring 3 inches and classified as 10d, these cut spikes are designed to drive smoothly through planking and heavy timber, ensuring a secure fit in demanding environments. Manufactured using original 19th-century nail machines, each spike is hand-fed into the machinery after being heated to a reddish hue. This traditional technique results in a unique character, with slight variations in head shape and nail length that reflect the craftsmanship behind each piece. With a production rate of 40 spikes per minute, Acorn ensures both quality and efficiency. Available in a standard finish or hot-dip galvanized for enhanced durability, these spikes offer exceptional holding power. Their unique shape causes wood fibers to compress against the spikes, making them difficult to pull out and enhancing their longevity. Each 50-pound package contains approximately 20 nails per pound, making them a reliable choice for any project. Proudly manufactured and packaged in Mansfield, Massachusetts, Acorn CK10L Cut Spikes embody the perfect blend of tradition and functionality, ensuring your construction needs are met with strength and reliability.
