Acorn CK10Z 3" 10d Hot-Dip Galvanized Cut Spikes - 1 lb

Acorn CK10Z Cut Spikes-3" 10d-Hot-Dip Galvanized-1 Pound deliver exceptional holding power ideal for heavy construction projects. Designed primarily for deck and bridge work, these cut spikes are expertly crafted to drive effectively through planking and heavy timber. Each spike is made using traditional methods on one of the company's vintage nail machines, dating back to 1865. This time-honored technique involves heating the steel plate to a reddish hue and feeding it by hand, a process that results in slight variations in head shape and nail length, adding to their unique charm. The spikes possess remarkable durability, making them difficult to pull out once driven in. Their design allows wood fibers to compress against the nails, enhancing their grip and making them a preferred choice for a variety of projects. Each pound of Acorn's CK10Z Cut Spikes contains approximately 20 nails, each measuring 3 inches in length and rated as 10d. Available in a hot-dip galvanized finish, these nails are built to withstand the elements, ensuring long-lasting performance. Proudly manufactured and packaged in Mansfield, Massachusetts, these cut spikes combine traditional craftsmanship with superior functionality, making them an essential addition to any toolkit.
