Acorn CK70ZL Cut Spikes-7" 70d-Hot-Dip Galvanized-50 Pound offer exceptional strength and durability for heavy construction projects. These cut spikes are designed to drive seamlessly through planking and heavy timber, making them an ideal choice for deck and bridge work. Crafted using traditional methods on one of our oldest nail machines, dating back to 1865, each spike is meticulously produced by hand. When heated to a reddish hue, the steel plate is fed into the machine, allowing for a production rate of 40 spikes per minute. Available in a robust hot-dip galvanized finish, these nails resist corrosion while maintaining their structural integrity. The unique manufacturing process may result in slight variations in head shape and nail length, giving each spike a distinctive character. Cut nails are renowned for their holding power, as their shape effectively pushes wood fibers downward, creating a secure grip that is hard to pull out. Once you’ve experienced the reliability of Acorn cut spikes, you'll prefer them for all your projects. With approximately seven nails per pound, the Acorn CK70ZL Cut Spikes provide an efficient and durable solution for your toughest construction needs.
