Acorn CK70ZV Cut Spikes-7" 70d-Hot-Dip Galvanized-5 Pound are essential tools for heavy construction projects, designed to provide superior holding power in demanding applications. Crafted using time-honored techniques, these cut spikes are produced on original nail machines dating back to 1865, ensuring authenticity and quality. Each spike is heated and cut by hand, resulting in a unique finish that reflects the craftsmanship of a bygone era. Ideal for deck and bridge work, these 70d spikes drive effectively through planking and heavy timber, making them a reliable choice for professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike. The hot-dip galvanized finish offers enhanced corrosion resistance, ensuring longevity even in challenging environments. With an approximate count of seven nails per pound, you can efficiently tackle large projects without the hassle of frequent re-supply. The unique shape of cut nails enhances their durability, making them difficult to pull out once driven in, as the design causes wood fibers to wedge against the nail, greatly amplifying their holding power.
