Acorn CN20 Hinge Nail, 4", 20d, 1 lb

Acorn CN20 Hinge Nail-4" 20d-1 Pound offers a reliable solution for fastening antique hinges and can be effectively used for face-nailing floors. With a head style reminiscent of a Boat Nail, these hinge nails are crafted from a slightly lighter gauge of steel, ensuring you receive more nails per pound compared to traditional options. Designed with durability in mind, cut nails like these possess exceptional holding power. Their unique shape allows wood fibers to push downward, creating a wedging effect that makes them difficult to pull out once installed. Manufactured using original 19th and early 20th-century nail machines, each nail may exhibit slight variations in head shape and length, adding a touch of historic authenticity to your projects. Available in a Standard Finish, Acorn hinge nails not only provide functional strength but also contribute to the aesthetic appeal of your architectural endeavors. Proudly produced and packaged in Mansfield, Massachusetts, these nails reflect a commitment to quality and craftsmanship. When you choose Acorn CN20 Hinge Nails, you’re opting for a product that combines traditional techniques with modern performance, making them an essential addition to your hardware toolbox. Experience the difference in your projects and enjoy the confidence that comes with using these premium nails.

Hinge Nail-4" 20d-1 Pound

Hinge Nails are ideal for fastening antique hinges and sometimes used for face-nailing floors. The head style is similar to a Boat Nail but Hinge Nails are made from a slightly lighter gauge of steel providing more nails per pound. Available in Standard Finish only. All our nails are made on original 19th century and early 20th century nail machines, this may lead to variation in head shape and slight differences in nail length. Tremont Nails are proudly manufactured and packaged in Mansfield Massachusetts. Cut nails posses great durability. They are hard to pull out because the shape causes the wood fibers to push downward and wedge against the nails, greatly strengthening the holding power. Once you have used them you will prefer to use them for all of you projects.
