Constructed from robust 30 x 60 mm (1 3/16" x 2 11/32") steel tubing, this wall bed kit ensures torsion-free operation, providing stability and safety. The integrated folding feet extend automatically as the bed opens and retract when closed, making it easy to use. Comfort is prioritized with wood slatted mattress supports mounted in flexible sockets, accommodating various mattress thicknesses. This versatile kit accommodates mattress sizes up to 1905 x 1372 mm (75" x 54") and is designed to fit inside cabinet depths ranging from 400 mm (15 3/4") to 505 mm (19 7/8"), depending on mattress thickness. The installation process requires professional skills to ensure a square and plumb fit, with a minimum panel thickness of 19 mm (3/4"). Heavy-duty L-brackets are included for secure wall mounting, and additional hardware is recommended for enhanced stability. Available in an anthracite finish, the Wall Bed Kit is supplied with a fully assembled frame, wood slats, installation hardware, and detailed mounting instructions. Important Note: Successful and safe installation of this bed fitting requires a professional skill level. All casework must be installed perfectly square and plump for this fitting to operate properly and should be constructed of high-quality material with a minimum panel thickness of 19 mm (3/4"). The installer is responsible for properly securing the wall bed cabinet to the wall. Set includes 2 heavy duty L-brackets for mounting to wall studs. It is also highly recommended that additional mounting hardware is used; through the back panel and/or into any adjacent cabinetry to ensure cabinet is firmly mounted. Mattress Weight and Pistons: It is critical to know the weight of the mattress before installation. Pistons are sold separately in pairs depending on the weight of the mattress. Häfele offers piston sets for mattresses with a weight range of 35-85 lbs. Do not use pistons from any source other than Häfele.
