CRL HLPAD5 5" Hook and Loop Sanding Pads offer a seamless solution for your sanding needs, featuring a unique hook and loop backing that ensures easy attachment and quick replacement of sanding discs. Designed specifically for use with the GV5000 Sander-Polisher or any unit compatible with a 3/8" long, 5/16"-18 male stud, these pads enhance workflow efficiency while minimizing disc slippage. Available in a convenient 5" (127 mm) diameter, the HLPAD5 pads are tailored for use with a range of sanding grits to suit various applications, including glass. Choose from popular grits such as 60X for quick general roughing, 80X for contouring, and 400X for an extra fine frosted finish, each designed to achieve specific results on glass surfaces. Safety is paramount, so always ensure proper safety gear is worn, including safety spectacles and a disposable particulate respirator. Please note that these pads are not compatible with the Makita® 9218 Disc Sander. CRL Hook and Loop Sanding Pads are designed with a unique hook and loop backing that allows for easy attachment and removal on your hook and loop sanding discs. CRL HLPAD5 and HLPAD6 can be used with GV5000 Sander-Polisher or units accepting a 3/8" long, 5/16"-18 male stud.

This hook and loop technology offers a convenient, reusable, and reliable solution that minimizes disc slippage from the sanding pad, while still providing the familiar disc-and-pad system for ease of use.
