Richelieu M54510017 Wiping Wood Stains offer a semi-transparent, pigmented solution ideal for achieving a uniform finish on various wood surfaces. This solvent-based stain is designed to be non-grain raising and fade-resistant, ensuring your projects maintain their aesthetic appeal over time. With a soft-settling formula that is easy to stir, this stain allows for straightforward application by spray, brush, or cloth, making it accessible for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts. One of the standout features of this product is its quick drying time-only 30 minutes are needed before applying a lacquer sealer coat. The pigmented formulation eliminates concerns about lapping, providing better control during application. It serves as an excellent uniforming stain over previous dye stains, and it will not bleed through the finish, ensuring a consistent look. For those looking to extend their open work time, adding Wood Stain Retarder is an option. This versatile stain can be covered with virtually any finish, including lacquer, shellac, varnish, polyurethane, and acrylics. Packaged in a convenient 1-gallon format, Richelieu M54510017 is the perfect choice for your wood finishing projects, particularly in the elegant Shale Gray color.
