Adams Rite 8622C-48 Concealed Vertical Rod Device

Adams Rite 8622C-48 Concealed Vertical Rod Device offers a sleek, unobtrusive design tailored for narrow stile aluminum applications. This exit device features cylinder dogging and is specifically dimensioned for openings of 48 inches. Made from extruded aluminum and available in a dark bronze anodized finish, it delivers both durability and aesthetic appeal. One of its standout features is the patented "Starwheel" bolt, which interlocks the door to the frame, enhancing security when the door is closed. Designed for versatility, this device is non-handed and accommodates standard door heights of up to 8 feet, with options for taller doors available. It suits door thicknesses from 1-3/4 inches to 2-1/4 inches and works with various cylinder types, including standard rim cylinders. Installation is straightforward, and the device includes standard self-tapping screws. With a five-year limited warranty, the Adams Rite 8622C-48 provides peace of mind for both commercial and residential applications. Enhance your building's security while maintaining a modern look with this efficient exit device.

Clean, unobtrusive design. Easy to install.

Patented "Starwheel" bolt interlocks door to frame, which is a unique feature for exit devices. The "Starwheel" bolt comes into play when the door closes. When the pushbar is depressed, the deadlocking slide moves back, allowing the door to unlock from the strike.
