When choosing a concealed vertical rod exit device, it is important to assess the door type and its intended use. Ensure that the device meets local building codes and safety regulations, particularly in high-traffic areas or where fire safety is a concern. Consider the installation requirements and whether the device will be used in conjunction with other security features.

Additionally, evaluate the ease of operation and maintenance of the exit device. Look for features that enhance user accessibility, such as electric latches or nightlatch options. Proper installation and regular maintenance will ensure that the exit device functions effectively, providing safety and peace of mind in emergency situations.
