With a cylinder length of 1-3/4 inches and a standard A02 straight cam, this mortise housing features an elegant oil-rubbed bronze finish that enhances both durability and aesthetics. Constructed from solid brass, this interchangeable core housing accommodates Corbin Russwin 8000 Series Interchangeable Cores in both 6 and 7-pin configurations. The rekeying convenience of interchangeable cores allows for efficient management of keying systems, enabling non-technical personnel to rekey without removing the hardware from the door. This feature is especially beneficial in high-traffic environments such as office buildings, hotels, schools, and hospitals, where quick rekeying can save both time and money over the life of the building. All standard operating keys, including change, master, and grand master, function normally, while a special control key is used for rekeying. Corbin Russwin also offers temporary construction cores for enhanced security during building projects. With a limited one-year warranty and made in the USA, this mortise housing is a reliable choice for any commercial locking system.

Corbin Russwin Interchangeable Core Mortise and Rim Housings are made from soldi brass and are available to accept Corbin Russwin 8000 Series Interchangeable Cores in 6 or 7-Pin versions.
Interchangeable cores provide rekeying convenience for virtually all types of keying systems.
Interchangeable cores like this save time and money over the life of a building.
Rekeying can be done by non-technical personnel without removing hardware from the door. When used system wide, IC provides tremendous rekeying convenience. When planned from the inception of a system, IC cylinders can be integrated with conventional cylinders.
IC is recommended for virtually all types of keying systems, such as office buildings, hotels, schools, hospitals and universities. When used in exit devices and other installations which are labor intensive to rekey, IC saves time and money over the life of the building.
All operating keys (change, master, grand master) operate the lock normally. To rekey, use the special control key. The control key operates at a separate shear line in certain chambers within the core. Only the control key is required to remove and install a core.
Cores are available in 6-pin (standard), 7-pin, security and Pyramid.
Corbin Russwin recommends temporary construction cores for greater security. Special construction master keying is also available, when planned from the inception of the keying system.
Concealed Key Control (CKC) is available for all Corbin Russwin cores.
