Finished in a sleek satin chrome, this LFIC core is crafted from solid brass, ensuring durability and reliability in high-traffic environments. The 852 keyway allows for versatile keying options, making it suitable for various applications including office buildings, hotels, schools, and hospitals. One of the standout features of this interchangeable core is the rekeying convenience it provides, allowing non-technical personnel to quickly and easily rekey without removing the hardware from the door. This not only saves significant time but also reduces costs over the life of a building. The core operates with all standard keys while utilizing a special control key for rekeying, which operates at a separate shear line, ensuring security and ease of use. Corbin Russwin recommends the use of temporary construction cores for enhanced security during the building phase. With a limited one-year warranty and compatibility with both 6-pin and 7-pin systems, this core is an excellent choice for anyone looking for efficiency and flexibility in their keying systems.

Rekeying can be done by non-technical personnel without removing hardware from the door. When used system wide, IC provides tremendous rekeying convenience. When planned from the inception of a system, IC cylinders can be integrated with conventional cylinders.
IC is recommended for virtually all types of keying systems, such as office buildings, hotels, schools, hospitals and universities. When used in exit devices and other installations which are labor intensive to rekey, IC saves time and money over the life of the building.
All operating keys (change, master, grand master) operate the lock normally. To rekey, use the special control key. The control key operates at a separate shear line in certain chambers within the core. Only the control key is required to remove and install a core.
Cores are available in 6-pin (standard), 7-pin, security and Pyramid.
Corbin Russwin recommends temporary construction cores for greater security. Special construction master keying is also available, when planned from the inception of the keying system.
Concealed Key Control (CKC) is available for all Corbin Russwin cores.
