C.R. Laurence 511C 51 Series Ceiling Mount Single Slider with Fixed Panel Kit is designed for seamless functionality in single door applications. This innovative system features a new "Softbrake" braking mechanism that ensures smooth and controlled sliding, enhancing user experience. It accommodates 5/16" or 3/8" (8 or 10 mm) tempered glass, making it ideal for modern glass installations, while its satin anodized finish adds a touch of elegance to any space. The kit includes top track adaptors for a fixed panel, along with two track covers that elegantly conceal the top track and hanger assemblies, providing a clean and sophisticated look. For optimal control, a minimum sliding panel width of 25-9/16" (650 mm) is required for single-direction travel, and 31-1/2" (800 mm) for bi-directional control. This system supports a maximum panel weight of 100 lbs. (45.4 kg) and is designed for ceiling mounting, ensuring robust installation. However, laminated glass is not recommended for use with this system. Please consult a structural engineer to ensure compliance with site conditions and regulations during installation. The C.R. This configuration of the CRL51 Series Slider is used for single door with fixed panel applications where the top track mounts to a structural ceiling. Kit includes Top Track Adaptors for a fixed panel and two Track Covers to conceal the Top Track, Adaptors, and Hanger Assemblies, making for an attractive yet simple installation. Pull hardware ordered separately. One "Softbrake" is required for each direction of travel to be controlled per panel. Minimum sliding panel width of 25-9/16" (650 mm) for control in a single direction; 31-1/2" (800 mm) for control in both directions of travel. NOTE: Laminated glass should not be used.
