The left-hand handing and flat tapered design provide preload pressure, effectively holding the door in the closed position against the stop. This spindle is specifically crafted for use with all center-hung and offset bottom arms designed for this spindle type, as well as CRL Patch Fitting Inserts, enhancing its adaptability in numerous applications. When determining the actual door clearance, remember to add 3/16" (5 mm) to the collar height. For example, a 1/8" (3 mm) collar height would yield a 5/16" (8 mm) door clearance from the finished floor.
