CRL AB Tilting Crate Handler

C.R. Laurence AB Tilting Crate Handler is engineered for efficient and safe handling of heavy loads in various work environments. With a robust capacity of 4,000 lbs. (1814 kg), this handler is designed to effortlessly move full crates up to 16-1/2" thick. Constructed from 1-1/4" IPS aluminum alloy pipe and featuring a durable steel under-frame, it combines strength with lightweight maneuverability. The innovative design allows the handler to tilt forward for lifting crates like a traditional dolly, then lean back onto its rollers for seamless transport around the shop. Equipped with extending support arms that reach 24" (610 mm) on either end, the AB Tilting Crate Handler accommodates loads up to 120" (3.05 m) wide. Adjustable back support braces enable operators to change the tilt angle between 45 and 75 degrees, enhancing stability for crates with a low center of gravity. Measuring 40" (1.02 m) wide, 72" (1.83 m) long (with extensions retracted), and 52" (1.32 m) high, this handler is perfect for transporting loads up to 60" (1.52 m) high. The CRL Tubular Aluminum Tilting Crate Handler can lean forward to lift crates like a common dolly then lean back on to its rollers for moving the crates throughout the shop. This Handler has extending support arms which extend 24" (610 mm) on either end, increasing the load capacity to 120" (3.05 m) wide. The back support braces are adjustable for changing the tilt angle of the handler to increase the load capacity. Designed to carry loads up to 60" (1.52 m) High and 4,000 lbs. (1814 kg) in Weight. This Handler measures 40" (1.02 m) wide, 72" (1.83 m) long (with extensions retracted), and 52" (1.32 m) high. Approximate shipping weight is 180 lbs. (82 kg). Ships dissembled F.O.B. the nearest CRL service center.

Product Warning:

CRATE SIZES MUST BE CONFIRMED BETWEEN CUSTOMER AND PRODUCT MANAGEMENT BEFORE ORDERING. EVEN THOUGH THIS CRATE HANDLER HAS A 4000LB CAPACITY, SOME CRATES CANNOT BE MOVED ON THIS DOLLY DUE TO THEIR OVERALL SIZE. UNLIKE THE MECHANICS OF A HAND TRUCK, THE LOAD CAN BE TILTED BACK TO ANY PRESET ANGLE BETWEEN 75 AND 45 DEGREES. THIS ALLOWS THE AB TO BE USED FOR CRATES UP TO 16-1/2 THICK.
IT ALSO SOLVES THE PROBLEM OF A SHORT CRATE WITH A LOW CENTER OF GRAVITY. Follow manufacturers load limits and crate handling procedures. Failure to do so may result in operator injury.
