C.R. Laurence CAR010RB Oil Rubbed Bronze Cardiff Series Top or Bottom Mount Hinge is a versatile and stylish solution for your tempered glass installations. Designed for 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) glass, this hinge offers the flexibility of both top and bottom mounting, which can be adapted to a Deluxe Header Kit for added stability. Its self-centering mechanism and four springs ensure maximum retention strength, making it ideal for heavy use in residential or hotel shower applications. Crafted from solid brass, the hinge features an elegant oil-rubbed bronze finish that enhances a variety of design aesthetics. With a maximum door weight capacity of 100 lbs. (45 kg) and a door width of up to 31" (787 mm), it accommodates a range of configurations. This patented design (U.S. Patent 5,297,313) minimizes cut-outs, allowing for a cleaner glass presentation compared to standard side mount hinges. Included with the hinge are gaskets, screws, and glass fabrication dimensions for a seamless installation. CRL Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges are designed for use with 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) tempered safety glass, and provide an extra number of application possibilities. Some advantages of pivot type hinges include the fact that they carry the majority of the weight on the bottom, and have the ability to be inset from the wall, enabling clearance for towel bars and other projections. Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges are self-centering, with four springs for maximum retention strength. Optional 5 degree Pre-Set Pivot Pin Sets may be ordered separately. The Cardiff Series is adaptable to our Deluxe Header System for shower enclosures not going all the way up to the ceiling. (Must order HAB01 Adaptor Block Separately.)


NOTE: Optional 5 degree Pivot Pin Set (for Cardiff, Prima, Rondo, and Shell Series) Optional 5 degree Pivot Pin sets are available when you want to alter the closing position of the door by 5 degree. These Pivot Pins may be inserted prior to installation, or retrofitted after the installation is complete. Sold as a set of two, one for the top, and one for the bottom. Not included with hinge purchase.

Using two hinges with 5/16" or 3/8" glass (8 or 10 mm) the hinge will hold up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
