CRL DB035CV36 Aluminum Medium-Duty Automatic Door Bottom for 36" Doors

C.R. Laurence DB035CV36 Aluminum Commercial Medium-Duty Automatic Door Bottom for 36" Door is the perfect solution for ensuring a tight seal while accommodating carpeted interiors. This mechanically actuated door bottom features an internal carrier bar with a vinyl insert that drops from a concealed cavity, effectively closing the gap between the door and threshold. The automatic function allows for seamless operation, retracting when the door opens and providing a clean look when closed. Designed with versatility in mind, this door bottom is field reversible, making it suitable for either hand of door. The included frame "actuator" protector plate enhances durability and ensures long-lasting performance. Proper installation is crucial; the actuation of the inner drop-down bar occurs only when mounted on the door, ensuring it operates smoothly when the back edge makes contact with the sill. Measuring 36-1/2" in length and 1-13/16" in overall height, it’s crafted from durable aluminum, ensuring it withstands the rigors of daily use. With no shipping limitations and compliance with safety standards, the C.R. Laurence DB035CV36 combines functionality and reliability, making it an essential addition to any commercial space where efficiency and aesthetics matter.
