CRL DB035DV36 Dark Bronze Anodized Medium-Duty Automatic Door Bottom for 36" Door

C.R. Laurence DB035DV36 Dark Bronze Anodized Commercial Medium-Duty Automatic Door Bottom for 36" Door offers an effective solution for maintaining a tight seal in carpeted interiors. This mechanically actuated door bottom features an internal carrier bar with a vinyl insert that drops from a concealed cavity, ensuring a secure closure when the door is closed. Designed specifically for 36-inch door openings, the automatic sweep retracts seamlessly when the door opens, making it ideal for high-traffic areas. The door bottom is field reversible, accommodating either door hand configurations, which enhances its versatility in various installations. With a sleek dark bronze finish, it not only provides functional benefits but also complements a range of architectural styles. Installation is straightforward, as the actuation system functions correctly only when the door bottom is mounted. Proper sealing occurs when the back edge makes contact with the sill, allowing the front edge to drop into place. For optimal performance, adjustments can be made via the threaded hex plunger to increase seal pressure against the sill. Crafted from durable aluminum, the overall height measures 1-13/16 inches, and the length is 36-1/2 inches. This door bottom is a reliable choice for professionals seeking quality and performance in their hardware solutions.
