C.R. Laurence EUR201BR Brass EUR Series Top or Bottom Patch Fitting - Less Insert offers versatility and durability for your glass installation projects. Designed for use with EUR Series Top and Bottom Inserts, this fitting features a high-density cast body equipped with a reliable lock mechanism that ensures a secure connection. It accommodates both 3/8" and 1/2" glass thicknesses, making it suitable for a variety of applications. This adaptable patch fitting allows you to easily convert from top to bottom installation by simply changing the insert. It includes essential components such as cover plates in your choice of finish, gaskets for compatibility with 3/8" or 1/2" glass, and a template with instructions for straightforward installation. When utilizing this hardware for a 1/2" glass door, adhere to the specified guidelines: the maximum height is 102" (2.59 m), weight limit is 176 lbs. (80 kg), and maximum width is 42" (1.09 m). For doors exceeding these limitations, consider using full door rails for added support. Please note, these fittings are not suitable for laminated glass. Additionally, while the polished brass finish is aesthetically pleasing, it is prone to oxidation over time, which may lead to a tarnished appearance.

    The following guidelines are to be used when making a 1/2" glass door using this hardware:

    If the door exceeds any of these limitations, full door rails should be used.
