Laurence FG3000S45 3/64" x 7/16" Fire Glazing Tape - 45 Minute is a specially formulated high-performance intumescent glazing tape designed to enhance safety and functionality in fire-rated applications. This tape features an adhesive backing on one side, allowing for easy installation on wood and hollow metal doors with vision lites, accommodating larger glass areas in 20, 45, 60, and 90-minute rated assemblies. Tested to UL standards, the FG3000S45 has successfully passed fire tests, achieving ratings of 20 minutes with hose stream and 45 minutes on both wood and metal doors. Its compatibility with wire glass products such as Pilkington, Asahi, and Central Glass, as well as non-wire glazing like Firelite™, makes it a versatile choice for various glazing needs. The tape measures 3/64 inches in thickness and 7/16 inches in width, with a roll length of 16 feet (5 meters). It performs optimally when installed at temperatures between 65ºF and 80ºF. CRL FG3000 Fire Glazing Tapes are specially formulated high performance intumescent glazing tapes with adhesive backing on one side, that allow for much larger vision lites in 20, 45, 60 and 90 minute rated wood and hollow metal doors with metal vision frames. In 20 and 45 minute rated hollow metal screens the use of FG3000 allows for much larger side lites, borrowed lites and glass transoms. Successfully passed 20 minutes (with hose stream) and 45 minutes on wood and metal doors with vision lites installed.

Maximum Hollow Metal Door Size:
48" x 120" (1.22 x 3.05 m) single and/or pairs approved.
