This hinge accommodates monolithic tempered glass ranging from 5/16" (8 mm) to 1/2" (12 mm) thick, ensuring compatibility with various designs. With a robust construction of solid brass and stainless steel moving parts, this hinge guarantees durability and reliability. A standout feature of the Geneva hinge is its self-centering mechanism, complemented by a reversible 5-degree pivot pin that allows for flexible installation options. The standard model is set for a 0-degree closing position, while a pre-set version offers a tighter 5-degree closure for enhanced water containment in shower enclosures. For unique installation angles, custom pivot pins can be specified to meet your requirements. This hinge supports remarkable weight capacities-up to 80 lbs. (36 kg) with two hinges and 120 lbs. (54 kg) with three, accommodating door widths of up to 32" (813 mm). Each unit comes with a three-year warranty, affirming the quality you can count on. The CRL Geneva Series of professional Hinges is able to accommodate 5/16" (8 mm) to 1/2" (12 mm) glass. A variety of six styles gives design flexibility, including three different Wall Mount and three different Glass-to-Glass types. Geneva Hinges are self-centering and contain a Reversible 5 Degree Pivot Pin. In addition, Custom Pivot Pins are available to accommodate "off-angle" installations. Made of solid brass with all moving parts (pins and springs) in stainless steel.


Each Geneva Hinge contains a Reversible Pivot Pin. One side of the Pin is marked at 90 degree. The opposite side of the Pin is marked 85 degree. Standard Geneva Hinges come with the 90 degree side activated. Pre-Set Models come with the Pin pre-set for 85 degree (5 degree tighter closure into shower interior). The Pin can be rotated (not flipped upside down) to activate the other side.

Custom Pivot Pin: Custom Pivot Pins (Cat. No. GENP1N) are available to accommodate "off-angle" installations. If the 5 Degree Reversible Pivot Pin contained in the hinge does not assist in closing the door to the position desired, you may specify the angle needed for a Custom Pivot Pin (up to 45 degrees). If using the Custom Pivot Pin, contact our Technical Sales Shower Door Department. Your glass sizes and the aesthetics of the enclosure may be affected by the use of the Custom Pivot Pin.

Using two hinges with 5/16" to 1/2" glass (8 to 12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 80 lbs. (36 kg) with a maximum door width of 28" (711 mm).

Using three hinges with 5/16" to 1/2" glass (8 to 12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 120 lbs. (54 kg) with a maximum door width of 32" (813 mm).
