C.R. Laurence GEN2800RB Oil Rubbed Bronze Geneva 280 Series 180 Degree Pony Wall Mount Hinge offers a seamless solution for your glass installations. Designed to replace standard wall-to-glass hinges, this hinge is ideal for pony wall applications, enabling a smooth 180-degree swing. Its unique construction features a shortened center block with a single centering spring and a compact back plate, allowing for easy surface mounting on tile or marble without the need for recessing. These CRL Geneva Pony Wall Mount Series hinges can be used in place of the standard wall-to-glass hinges normally utilized when using wall mount hinges on a pony wall, and glass-to-glass hinges above them. The GEN280 model is for use with 180 degree applications, while the GEN245 is for use with 135 degree applications. Previously in this application the tile or marble had to be cut to allow the wall mount hinge to be recessed. That adjustment aligned the pivot points between both hinges to allow proper installation. Geneva Pony Wall Mount Hinges are modified with a shortened center block (containing only one centering spring) and a small back plate (with only two mounting holes). Each hinge has the same Reversible 5 degree Pivot Pin as our standard Geneva Hinge.


NOTE: For 135 degree installations it is required that the face of the pony wall be at a 45 degree angle to the wall, and a 90 degree angle to the door plane.

Using two hinges with 5/16" to 1/2" glass (8 to 12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 80 lbs. (36 kg) with a maximum door width of 28" (711 mm).

Using three hinges with 5/16" to 1/2" glass (8 to 12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 120 lbs. (54 kg) with a maximum door width of 32" (813 mm).
