When working with 1/2" glass, it is essential to include CRL GR5PV Cap Rail Vinyl and 95CBL Silicone for secure glass retention, while 5/8" glass installations should use only the 95CBL Silicone and shims. Constructed from standard stainless alloy 304, the GRLC10HBS also has an option for stainless alloy 316 available upon special order. Keep in mind that while stainless steel offers corrosion resistance, it is not entirely rust or stain-proof; periodic maintenance is recommended to preserve its factory finish.
