Laurence HR2EGBS 316 Brushed Stainless Long Arm Malibu Series Glass Mounted Hand Rail Bracket is designed for strength and versatility, making it an essential component for modern hand rail systems. This bracket accommodates hand rail tubing with diameters ranging from 1-1/2" to 2" (38 to 51 mm), ensuring compatibility with various installations. Crafted from 316 grade stainless steel, it offers corrosion resistance, durability, and a sleek brushed finish that enhances any architectural design. The HR2EGBS model features a long arm design, providing a centerline projection of 2-15/16 in. (75 mm), which allows for effective glass mounting. It is suitable for glass thicknesses between 1/2" and 1-1/16" (12 to 25.52 mm), making it adaptable for different applications. Each bracket is individually packed with necessary attachment screws and an outside disc for ease of installation. Please note that installation requires a 3/4" (19 mm) hole in the glass. Additionally, the mounting stud can be drilled and tapped for either M10 x 1.5 or 3/8-16" threads, so it's important to check the label on the box before preparing the mounting surface. Regular maintenance is recommended to uphold the stainless steel’s factory finish.
