This hinge supports impressive weight capacities, holding up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with two hinges for doors up to 30" (762 mm) wide, and up to 120 lbs. (54 kg) with three hinges for wider doors up to 34" (864 mm). Constructed from solid brass, the hinge also features a self-centering mechanism when within 15 degrees of the closed position, providing smooth and reliable operation. CRL Melbourne Series Hinges feature large hinge plates that provide more clamping force. The required simple rectangular cut-out is for ease of glass fabrication. Constructed of forged solid brass, the Melbourne Series offers three versions of wall mount models, a 180 degree glass-to-glass model, and replacement cover plates for concealment of hinge plate screws. For use with 1/2", 3/8", and 5/16" (12, 10 and 8 mm) thick tempered glass. Stocked in three popular finishes, with custom finishes available.


Using two hinges with 1/2", 3/8", and 5/16" glass (12, 10, and 8 mm) the hinge will hold up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 30" (762 mm).

Using three hinges with 1/2", 3/8", and 5/16" glass (12, 10, and 8 mm) the hinge will hold up to 120 lbs. (54 kg) with a maximum door width of 34" (864 mm).
