C.R. Laurence P1BPSBS P1 Series 316 Brushed Stainless 56" Railing Post Only With Adjustable Saddle offers a robust solution for both commercial and residential railing systems. Constructed from 2" (51 mm) square 316 Grade Stainless Steel Tubing with a 1/8" (3.2 mm) wall thickness, this post is engineered to meet or exceed guard rail and hand rail code standards, ensuring safety and durability. Designed to accommodate 1/2" to 27/32" (12 to 21.52 mm) thick tempered glass, the P1 Series post is compatible with three styles of glass attachment fittings, which are sold separately. The adjustable height top saddle supports 1-1/4" (32 mm) or 1-1/2" (38 mm) diameter Schedule 40 handrail tubing, allowing flexibility in design and installation. Available in a brushed stainless finish, the P1BPSBS also offers custom powder paint finishes to suit various aesthetic preferences. While the post is resistant to corrosion, periodic maintenance is recommended to preserve its factory finish. For the assembly of the top rail to the saddle, screws can be specified using Cat. No. PRS1032TC. Please note that certain glass fittings are sold separately, and the product ships via common carrier only.
