Designed to work seamlessly with both 2-3/4" and 2-9/16" (70 and 65 mm) pivot setback door patch fittings, this transom patch accommodates 3/8" or 1/2" (10 or 12 mm) monolithic tempered glass, ensuring superior strength and durability. This versatile patch includes a 1NT300 insert, which allows for easy mounting of doors with compatible CRL top door patch fittings like the PH20A and PH21A. The insert can be repositioned on the non-hinged side, making it suitable for double-swing doors. For one-way door functionality, consider pairing it with the INT306 transom patch door stop insert. Additionally, for top-of-door installations, the INT305 transom patch keeper insert can be utilized with the AMR205 lock. While the PH40A is built to handle significant loads, transoms exceeding 100 lbs. (45.4 kg) must be supported from the ceiling to prevent slippage. The product comes with a template and instructions for easy glass fabrication, requiring three 7/8" (25 mm) diameter holes and a corner notch. Note that these fittings are not compatible with laminated glass, ensuring clarity in application.
