Designed to accommodate both 2-3/4" and 2-9/16" pivot setback door patch fittings, this versatile patch is compatible with 3/8" or 1/2" (10 mm or 12 mm) monolithic tempered glass, ensuring a secure and durable connection. The integrated INT300 Insert simplifies mounting with CRL's PH20A or PH21A Top Door Patch Fittings, while its adjustable feature allows for a seamless installation on the non-hinged side, making it suitable for double swing doors. For additional functionality, the INT306 Transom Patch Door Stop Insert and INT305 Transom Patch Keeper Insert can be employed for one-way door setups and enhanced locking mechanisms, respectively. It is important to note that if the transom exceeds 100 lbs. (45.4 kg), ceiling support is advised to prevent slippage. The product comes complete with a template and instructions for easy installation, and it requires specific glass fabrication with three 7/8" (25 mm) diameter holes and a corner notch. The
CRL Sidelite Mounted Transom Patch is used to support a transom from a sidelite glass panel. It comes with a INT300 Insert for mounting a door with the CRL
PH20A or
PH21A Top Door Patch Fitting. The Insert can also be moved on the non-hinged side, allowing for a double swing door. A
INT306 Transom Patch Door Stop Insert can be used to create a one way door. Also, a
INT305 Transom Patch Keeper Insert can be installed for use with an
AMR205 Lock when used for top of the door installation.
If the weight of the transom exceeds 100 lbs. (45.4 kg) the transom must be supported from the ceiling. This is to prevent the Patches from slipping from too much weight. Use either Cat. No. B5BC Smoke Baffle Channel or PH94 Patch Fittings. Please contact our Technical Sales Department for assistance.
