Laurence PM290 Palmer SuperSet Mirro-Mastic - White is a premier adhesive solution designed for securely adhering plate glass and acrylic mirrors to a variety of substrates, including drywall, wood, glass, metal, and tile. Known as the industry standard for high-quality mirror mastics, SuperSet offers a low VOC (9 g/L) and solvent-free formula, making it an environmentally friendly choice for both residential and commercial applications. This mastic features a strong permanent bond that remains flexible, absorbing normal vibrations and accommodating thermal movements without the risk of shrinking or becoming brittle over time. With a fast cure time that allows for efficient project completion, it is ideal for large mirrored walls, fitness centers, and even high-traffic areas like elevators and dance studios. Packaged in convenient plastic cartridges with screw-on nozzles, each cartridge covers approximately 12 square feet (1.1 square meters). The application temperature ranges from 59 to 95ºF (15 to 35ºC), ensuring versatility across a variety of environments. SuperSet is also compliant with LEED® standards, qualifying for green building credits. For optimal results, always follow Palmer's directions and utilize mechanical fasteners to support mirror installations.

CRL Palmer SuperSet Mirro-Mastic® is a low VOC compliant, solvent-free adhesive mastic formulated for adhering plate glass mirror and acrylic mirror to various substrates, such as drywall, wood, glass, metal, and tile. SuperSet is ideal for large mirrored walls, columns, vanities, and high traffic areas like fitness centers, dance studios, elevators, and commercial projects. It cures to a strong permanent bond that will not shrink or become hard and brittle with age. SuperSet absorbs normal vibrations and will allow for movement due to thermal changes. Packaged in plastic cartridges with screw-on nozzles (additional nozzles Cat. No. S1LN0Z), and it has a 10 month shelf life from date of manufacture. SuperSet Mirro-Mastic® may be used with CRL Category II Safety Tape Film that has been washed with a 70% solution of isopropyl alcohol (IPA). All applications must have permanent bottom support and mechanical fasteners. Palmer SuperSet Mirro-Mastic® also qualifies for LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System™ credit.

Application temperature: 59 to 95ºF (15 to 35ºC)
Clean up: Tools can be cleaned with methylethylketone(MEK) or acetone before full curing of the sealant. After curing, abrasion is necessary.
Shelf life: 10 months on an unopened cartridge.
Cure time: >2 mm/24 h @ 73.4ºF (23ºC) and 50% HR


Product Warning:

Test before using any mastic! Always follow Palmer's directions and warnings on the cartridge and Technical Data Sheet. Do not apply SuperSet to a painted surface, wall covering or treated wood. Support mirror at the bottom. Mechanical fasteners must be used for all mirror applications such as CRL Mirror Clips, or CRL Mirror Mounting Tape. Apply both double-sided mirror mounting tape and mastic at room temperature following directions on each package. If the directions do not cover conditions at hand, consult CRL Technical Sales. It is the users responsibility to determine the mastic's suitability to a particular application. CRL cannot guarantee materials against mirror spoilage.
