Description

CRL S0GC91BR Brass Adjustable Sleeve-Over Glass Clamp

C.R. Laurence S0GC91BR Brass Adjustable "Sleeve Over" Glass Clamp is engineered for versatility and strength, accommodating glass thicknesses ranging from 5/16" to 1/2" (8 to 12 mm). Crafted from solid brass, this clamp not only boasts durability but also provides a polished finish that enhances the aesthetic of any installation. Designed to assist with shear forces exerted on glass panels, the S0GC91BR is adjustable from 90 to 180 degrees, allowing for a customized fit to your specific project needs. Importantly, no special fabrication of the glass is required, making installation straightforward. The clamp secures glass panels in place while silicone sealant cures, ensuring a watertight bond that prevents leakage and maintains structural integrity. Equipped with nylon-tipped Allen set screws, this clamp offers a secure hold without damaging the glass surface. The included gaskets further improve the installation, providing additional cushioning and support. It’s important to note that these clamps should not replace headers or support bars. For optimal performance, consult the CRL Frameless Shower Technical Sales Department if you're unsure about your installation requirements. With its blend of functionality and elegance, the C.R. Laurence S0GC91BR is an essential component for any professional glazing project.

Holds Glass Panels in Position While Sealant Cures

CRL Sleeve Over Glass Clamps are designed to provide a mechanical fastener to cover the shear forces placed on the glass panels. No special fabrication of the glass is required. Can also be used to secure the glass panels in position while the applied silicone sealant in the joint cures (the silicone sealant glues the glass panels together, prevents water leakage, and provides the pull strength to keep the panels from separating). Clamps are secured in place by nylon tipped Allen set screws.
