CRL SCS1201 Clear GE 1200 Silicone Sealant

C.R. Laurence SCS1201 Clear GE 1200 Construction Silicone Sealant is a high-performance, one-part silicone solution designed for a multitude of construction and glazing applications. This acetic cure sealant exhibits high modulus and strength, ensuring durable and flexible bonds that can withstand a wide temperature range. It effectively seals building joints, preventing the penetration of rain, air, and noise, making it an ideal choice for weatherproofing junctions of various building materials. The GE® 1200 sealant creates permanent watertight bonds with a variety of substrates, including glass, ceramic, steel, and painted surfaces. Perfect for sealing curtainwall, mullion joints, and glazing windows-both aluminum and wood-this silicone is also suitable for interior glass partitions and skylights. With compliance to rigorous standards, including ASTM C-920 and Federal Specifications, this product ensures reliability and longevity in maintenance applications. Available in a 10.1 oz. cartridge, the clear finish offers a discreet solution without compromising aesthetic appeal. While the GE 1200 sealant is versatile, it should not be applied to porous surfaces like concrete or marble, nor in structural glazing applications. With an 18-month shelf life, it’s a dependable choice for any building professional seeking high-quality sealing solutions.
