CRL SCS2009 Aluminum GE SilPruf Silicone SealantC.R. Laurence SCS2009 Aluminum GE SilPruf Silicone Sealant is a premium one-part, neutral cure sealant tailored for a wide range of weatherproofing applications. It boasts an impressive ±50% dynamic joint movement capability, making it ideal for joints subject to expansion and contraction. Designed to provide a robust weatherproof seal, this silicone sealant adheres effectively to most substrates without the need for a primer, ensuring ease of application on metals, masonry, concrete, plastics, wood, and coated surfaces. Upon exposure to atmospheric moisture, the SilPruf® sealant forms a low-modulus, long-lasting silicone rubber that is perfect for butt joints and lap shear joints in both weatherproofing and glazing projects. Notably, it meets or exceeds several industry standards, including Federal Specifications TT-S-001543A and ASTM C 1184-95, ensuring its reliability in demanding environments. For structural glazing applications, it is vital to obtain written approval from GE® Silicones before use. Each cartridge contains 10.1 oz. (300 ml) of sealant, with a shelf life of 12 months. Available in an aluminum finish, this product is an essential choice for building professionals seeking durable and effective sealing solutions.
