C.R. Laurence SCS2801 Clear GE SilGlaze II Silicone Sealant is a versatile sealing solution tailored for window perimeter weathersealing and various glazing applications. This one-part, neutral cure silicone provides a low odor and fast curing capability, making it ideal for both in-shop window fabrication and field installations. Designed for excellent adhesion to wood, vinyl, aluminum, and glass, SilGlaze® II serves multiple purposes, including bedding sealant and cap, toe, and heel bead applications. It is also an effective saw kerf sealant for setting dimensional stone panels, ensuring durability and reliability in your projects. This sealant meets or exceeds various industry standards, including ASTM C-920, and is formulated to provide a medium modulus performance for consistent results. However, it’s important to note that this product is not suitable for structural glazing, aquariums, or continuous water immersion applications. GE® SilGlaze® II Silicone Sealant is a one-part, neutral curing, medium modulus sealant that can be used for field glazing, window installations, and general purpose sealing applications.


Basic Uses
SilGlaze® II may be used for in-shop window fabrication as a bedding sealant, as well as for cap, toe, and heel bead applications. GE® SilGlaze® II Silicone Sealant is also recommended for use as a saw kerf sealant for the setting of dimensional stone panels. It has excellent adhesion to wood, vinyl, aluminum, and glass. May also be used as a perimeter weatherseal for field glazing and window installations.
