C.R. Laurence SDCD12SB Satin Brass 1/2" Fixed Panel Shower Door Deep U-Channel - 95" is expertly designed to secure fixed glass panels with unmatched reliability. This robust aluminum channel accommodates both 3/8" and 1/2" (10 and 12 mm) thick glass, ensuring a stable installation for frameless shower enclosures. The deep pocket feature effectively secures the glass, providing additional support where it’s needed most. Measuring 3/4" (19 mm) in height, this channel can be used independently or in conjunction with a regular depth U-channel, offering flexibility in design. It is recommended to wet glaze the channel with clear silicone for optimal glass security. Available in a popular 95" (2.41 m) length, it is also offered in more economical 144" (3.66 m) stock lengths for larger projects. End caps are available to conceal the ends of the channel, enhancing the overall aesthetic of your installation. This product is best used with monolithic tempered glass, making it an ideal choice for professional builders and discerning homeowners alike. CRL Deep U-Channel is for securing fixed panels of glass to the wall, ceiling or floor. Widths suitable for 1/2" (12 mm) thick glass are available, and are individually wrapped to protect the finish. The 3/4" (19 mm) high profile Deep U-Channel can be used also as the top channel in installations where the glass must be inserted into the top, then lowered into the Regular U-Channel used at the bottom of the enclosure. Over a dozen stock finishes are offered.
