C.R. Laurence SDH660BL Black 66" Deluxe Shower Door Header Kit is engineered to provide robust support for glass panels that do not extend to the ceiling. This versatile header kit accommodates 5/16", 3/8", and 1/2" thick glass, making it an excellent choice for various installations. Each kit includes a 66" aluminum header extrusion, a 36" snap-in filler for door pockets, and a pack of two brass wall mounting brackets, ensuring a complete setup for your shower door system. Designed with a narrow 1-1/4" face, the header minimizes visible sight lines, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of your space. The kit is adaptable to multiple hinge types, including Senior Prima, Senior Cardiff, Prima, Cardiff, Rondo, and Shell Hinges, facilitating seamless integration with top and bottom mount pivot hinges. For unique installation scenarios, optional components like adjustable corners and a blank mounting bracket are available separately. The included clear vinyl is suitable for 5/16" and 3/8" glass, while 1/2" glass does not require it. The CRL Deluxe Header Kit will provide additional support and a level of safety while securing glass panels not reaching the ceiling. Deluxe Header Kits are designed to allow installers to do in-house fabrication using a selection of component parts. Sold in 66", 98" or 144" lengths, each Header Extrusion has a narrow 1-1/4" (32 mm) face to minimize the visible sight line. 90 degree, 135 degree or Adjustable Corners are sold separately. Also available is a special Adapter Block for use on pivot hinge installations. Brass Wall Brackets are included in each kit. A Blank Mounting Bracket is offered separately for installations where the Header does not meet the wall at 90 degree, and the standard Wall Mounting Brackets cannot be used.

This Header Kit is adaptable to Senior Prima, Senior Cardiff, Prima, Cardiff, Rondo or Shell Hinges, if using the Kit with Top and Bottom Mount Pivot Hinges.
