The CRL Trento Hinge is a heavy-duty hinge designed for modern frameless shower doors, supporting glass panels up to 150 lbs. in a standard two-hinge installation. It's sleek rectangular design with concealed mounting screws delivers a clean aesthetic that enhances the overall look of the shower enclosure without visible hardware.
The Trento Hinge uses durable non-asbestos fiber (NAF) gaskets, compatible with both 3/8" and 1/2" (10 mm and 12 mm) monolithic tempered glass. This material adapts to help maintain a consistent grip between the hinge and glass across varying surface conditions.
STANDARD REVERSIBLE PIVOT PIN: Each Trento Hinge contains a Reversible Pivot Pin. The standard reversible pivot pin allows you to adjust the door’s closed position. By rotating (not flipping) the pin, you can shift the self-centering angle by 5 degrees—either 95° or 85°—to ensure the door closes properly and aligns correctly with surrounding panels. This adjustment helps maintain a tight seal and smooth operation.
Using two hinges with 3/8" and 1/2" (10 mm and 12 mm) glass, the hinge can support doors up to 150 lbs. (68 kg) with a maximum width of 40" (1016 mm).
