CRL UV60125 UV601 Low Viscosity UV Adhesive, 250g

C.R. Laurence UV601 Low Viscosity UV Adhesive - 250g is your go-to solution for high-strength glass-to-glass bonding. Formulated as a 100% solids adhesive, it boasts a low viscosity that promotes excellent capillary action, making it ideal for applications where aesthetics and strength are paramount, such as optical components and glass furniture. This optically clear adhesive cures rapidly upon exposure to ultraviolet light, ensuring efficiency in production cycles. Designed for bonding glass, metal, wood, and many plastics, the UV601 provides formidable tensile and shear strength, rated at 2400 psi, while maintaining a Shore D hardness of 80-90. With an acceptable bondline gap of just 0.5 to 1 mil (0.0127 to 0.0254 mm), it ensures a seamless bond that is practically invisible. For optimal adhesion, it is recommended to prepare surfaces with a compatible cleaner and degreaser to remove any contaminants. Please note that testing is advised when bonding plastics, as compatibility may vary. Store the adhesive away from sunlight and be mindful of its 12-month shelf life. C.R. Laurence UV601 is a reliable choice for professionals seeking precision and quality in their glazing projects.

CRL UV601 is a low viscosity, 100% solids, adhesive that forms resilient, high strength bonds between materials such as glass, metal, wood, and many plastics.

Due to its high purity UV601 is especially suited for bonding glass-to-glass where looks are paramount making it suitable for bonding optical components. In addition, because of its excellent capillary action (low viscosity) it is ideal for glass-to-glass and tempered glass-to-tempered glass bonding, primarily in the construction of showcases and the efficient production of glass furniture. Reduced clean-up time means glass furniture production cycles are done quickly and efficiently.

Bonds prepared with CRL UV601 are optically clear and the adhesive cures within seconds upon exposure to ultraviolet light. The speed of cure depends on the UV intensity as measured at the product surface, as well as the adhesive depth. Store adhesive away from sunlight.

Cleaner and Degreaser provides for optimum adhesion when used first to prepare the glass by removing any dirt and grease that is present.

Note: When bonding plastics, always test first, as not all plastics can be bonded properly. Do not bond any coated parts (powder coated or galvanized) with this adhesive.
