This hinge features a specially designed grooved internal pivot pin that ensures a positive and accurate closing action, setting it apart from standard self-centering hinges. It is ideal for use with monolithic tempered glass, accommodating thicknesses ranging from 3/8" to 1/2" (10 to 12 mm). With two hinges, this model supports door weights up to 110 lbs. (50 kg) and can extend to 140 lbs. (63 kg) when three hinges are used. The maximum door width is 36" (914 mm), making it versatile for various applications. The hinge swings 90 degrees in both inward and outward directions and closes firmly to zero degrees. Constructed from solid brass, the V1E067BN is available in brushed nickel and three other popular finishes, with additional custom finishes available upon special order. Each package includes gaskets, screws, and essential glass fabrication dimensions. Designed primarily for residential and hotel shower use, this hinge requires a specific cut-out as per the included template, ensuring a perfect fit and finish for your projects.

The Positive Close Vienna Hinge contains an internal grooved pivot pin that allows the door a precise and positive closing action. This is a different closing action than the typical self-centering Vienna Hinges. Stocked in our four most popular finishes, and available in other finishes upon special order.


Using two hinges with 3/8" to 1/2" glass (10 to 12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 110 lbs. (50 kg) with a maximum door width of 36" (914 mm).

Using three hinges with 3/8" to 1/2" glass (10 to 12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 140 lbs. (63 kg) with a maximum door width of 36" (914 mm).

Using two hinges with 3/8" to 1/2" glass (10 to 12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 110 lbs. (50 kg) with a maximum door width of 36" (914 mm).
