Laurence Z212SC Satin Chrome Z-Series Round Type 2" Radius Base Zinc Clamp for 1/2" Glass is engineered for versatility and reliability in various applications, including mezzanines, partitions, railings, and windbreaks. Designed specifically for 1/2" (12 mm) monolithic tempered glass, this clamp ensures secure and sturdy glass installation while meeting and exceeding code standards. Constructed from durable zinc with a stunning satin chrome finish, this clamp offers both aesthetic appeal and long-lasting performance. It features a radius base design that facilitates easy installation on either 1-1/2" or 2" (38 or 50.8 mm) diameter round tubing. For added stability, a steel pin is included to provide additional glass support, requiring a 1/2" notch for optimal performance. The Z212SC also comes equipped with rubber gaskets to prevent glass slippage, making it an excellent choice for interior applications. Our CRL Z-Series Round Type Radius Base Glass Clamps are designed to be used on glass thickness of 1/4" up to 1/2" (6 to 12 mm), and are available in either zinc or stainless steel. The clamps are the perfect solution for partitions, railings, windbreaks and countless other projects.

For securing the Z-Clamp to thin wall tubing (less than 1/8"), use CRL’s ZB0LT Socket Head Cap Bolt and ZRNUT Rivet-Nut. For installation, drill a 17/32" (13.5 mm) hole, then install the Rivet-Nut using 34604 Heavy-Duty Thread Insert tool and 34618 5/16" Mandrel and Nosepiece.

NOTE: 1/2" (12 mm) notch is required if using the steel pin (included with the clamp) for additional glass support.

For 1/2" (12 mm) Thick Glass: 9/16" (14 mm) diameter hole required if using provided steel pin for glass support.
Includes: Rubber Gaskets and Steel Pin (for optional use) with Grommet
Replacement Hardware: CRL ZCS5X15SS for Replacement Screws & Replacement gaskets are available by ordering CRL Cat. No. Z12RG.

Product Warning:

For interior CRL recommends pinning each glass panel as required when the glass is not supported from the bottom edge to prevent glass panel slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided with each clamp.
